Need versatile Mic suggestions

Looking for a Mic for vocals and recording my own sounds in ableton. Price range is 100-200 dollars. I wanna make my own shakers and clasps and stuff like that.

Can't go wrong with Shure SM57 and 58. They are not the same, one built for instruments and the other for vocals. But then again any mic can do the job with a decent preamp.

if you´re looking for a condenser mic I can recommend the AKG C 3000, I think the price is fair too

I've got an Audix i5, pretty similar to the SM57. I don't remember why I bought it over the shure at the time, but it's the same sorta deal, good all-around mike. Both are better than the other in certain situations, from what I gather.
also it's built virtually indestructible.
