Mpc1000 problem..

Yo fellas, I have a problem with my mpc1000 bought it 2 days ago have started to try to chopping a sample today, how ever when I try to chopp the sample and go to change the start and end point becomes a problem, start point is ok, end point is ok, but I CAN'T move the cursor back to region so i can change it to Region 2 and so on. anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Pressed all buttons possible.. nothing helps... I don't think the mpc is the problem..

The free version of Jj os 3.16

also in the save section i can't save my program like, I have the right side where it says all the samples and so on, but I can't change from program to program and so on. since im stuck on the right side,

Bad switches? Reinstall the OS first.

Don't belive it's the switches, The device is running fine overall, I can import chopps from my pc but I can't chop on the machine and that destorys the whole thing for me, I've already installed the os again and tried nothing is different.. their got to be some solution of what I've done wrong.

Does the left cursor button work in any other screens?

How do you know the tact switches are good? Can you use all the cursors fine until you get the chopping point?

now when i open the mpc up it don't seem broken so wtf is wrong with my mpc?

could be just the plastic part needs to be replaced. also i have heard you can use deoxit to clean the buttons.
