synchronizing the mpc ren with the fantom x

first I would like to congratulate the forum that has helped me a lot.
I have just purchased a MPC reniassance and am having trouble syncing my fantom x with mpc ren.
enough already tried the forums and manual but could not solve my problem.
what I want to do is sync my fantom x with mpc ren so that I can either use it to play my VSTS and also use the built in sequencer fantom patches of mpc.
I turned on the fantom xa with my mpc in mid and mid checked out and also two cables in jack imput mpc
chosen in preference mid clock and have kept as slave mid fantom
when I load a vst I can play it normally with my fantom x, but when I want to play an internal patched the fantom in mpc even if I change the fantom to master, local switch off only leaves a patched piano that should be the mpc I already tried all possible settings and I can not touch the internal patches fantom in mpc

WZUP?!?!?!? Just so you know I don't think many people are gonna answer your question only because what you are asking is in theory BASIC MIDI 101 and if your using the REN some will assume that you have that down already......just and FYI I have noticed here on the forums....anyhow I will explain as best as I can based on what I think your asking, especially cause I use my Korg Triton for it's internal sounds and as MIDI controller for the VSTi.

#1 Use your MPC REN as the master (make sure the to your keyboard.

#2 Don't worry about the MIDI BEAT CLOCK and whatever else. MIDI BEAT
CLOCK is mainly used for dumping sounds (tracks) when tracking to daw, or
other external devices.

#3 Make sure you have two pairs of MIDI cables.
- 1st MIDI cable is: one end coming out from REN's MIDI OUT A and the other
end into Fantom X's MIDI IN
-2nd MIDI cable is: one end coming out Fantom X's MIDI OUT and the other
end into the MPC REN's MIDI IN PORT 1

In essence you will have a loop through via MIDI cords with the keyboard and
MPC REN. Now you can use the MPC as the brain to control the keyboard and
it's operations.

#4 Load up your MPC software and on Sequence 1, Track 1 make Track 1 a MIDI
track. On the sequencer on your Famtom use track 1 to correspond to track 1
on your REN. now you should be able to play a melody and such and then the
ren will loop it back

there is more but it's just too much to write.....once you get that down.....lol.....I'll explain the rest. Plus I don't have my MPC REN in front of me......hit me on DM with a number and I'll reach out when I'm front of my system...

like you said you only tried to help
seems to me that such a question sounds like ignorance
but I can assure you that I have done everything you told me to do
the two midi cables are connected properly besides a couple of jack cable imput on the mpc
this the mpc as master and the settings appear to be correct in mid preferences
the fantom x appears in preferences and the outputs are configured correctly.
I create a track and in mid a1 fantom x also on this track a1, as the fantom slave, local switch off and everything seems to be correct.
I know enough about mid concepts and already had other hardware connected to my fantom x
but despite all this the only sound that comes out is piano
when you load a VST or kontakt that I use here the sounds correctly touched the fantom
it has taken me sleep because I can not use the internal patches fantom
anyway I appreciate the help

You have to bei sure too turn local off on the fantom.

You have checked the midi in and Outs Inside the Software?

as I mentioned before the fantom is already in local switch off
my monitors are connected to my impact twin interface ie
outputs go to the MPC interface
already checked and tried all possible settings

No I mean monitoring on the mpc...go into the,sampling menu and turn monitoring on...as default it s turned off

I would forget about trying to synchronise the Fantom sequencer to the MPC sequencer, for the moment.

I would just try to get the Fantom internal sound engine operating as an external sound module connected to the MPC, and the Fantom keyboard operating as a MIDI controller keyboard for the MPC.

You can setup the Fantom internal sound engine, in Performance mode, so that it plays a different Fantom sound on each of the 16 MIDI channels available in the MIDI cable connected from a MIDI output of the MPC to the MIDI input of the Fantom.

To do this, you need to go into Performance Mode on the Fantom, and assign a different Fantom patch to each of the 16 MIDI channels.

Then you play each of those 16 different Fantom patches, from different MPC tracks, each track assigned to one of the 16 MIDI channels on the MPC output that is connected to the Fantom.

Turning Local MIDI Off, as suggested earlier, disconnects the Fantom keyboard from the Fantom internal sound engine, so that the MIDI note on/off messages from the Fantom keyboard are send to the Fantom MIDI output, and do not trigger any Fantom internal sounds directly. The MIDI note on/off messages, coming into the Fantom from the MPC sequencer, trigger the Fantom internal sounds, on up to 16 different MIDI channels, according to what sound is assigned to each MIDI channel in the Fantom Performance Mode.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish, and personally I'd turn local off on the Fantom like others have suggested above.

However, if using the Fantom's sequencer is essential, it would be best to slave it to MTC (MIDI Time Code), not MIDI clock.

IME, MIDI Clock has always been finicky, but MTC always worked fine.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish, and personally I'd turn local off on the Fantom like others have suggested above.

However, if using the Fantom's sequencer is essential, it would be best to slave it to MTC (MIDI Time Code), not MIDI clock.

IME, MIDI Clock has always been finicky, but MTC always worked fine.

when I create a mid program mpc A1
fantom and performance in track mode A1

already did that
when I put the phone in direct fantom no sound while in off-site
if I switch to local exits on the tone in the earpiece
if I put a guitar in fantom patched and create a program in mid mpc
to play the sound that comes out is piano
