I just got my MPC REN last week, and today I kind of hit a wall
where I know how to use the device, but I dont know how to make
stuff sound better, and I dont know how to use plugins from my
previous DAW (waves for example) and its little things that I dont
know about the ren

and I dont really know how to compose songs, I know hooks, verses,
but I dont know about transitions and stuff like that, im real ignorant
about a lot of stuff, and I was frustrated today because im leaning too
much on samples, where can I go to ascend to the next level?

thanks, im new here. but since I made this investment, ill be a regular soon

I have a macbook BTW

Are you for real???
I ask this seriously....

for as far I can reply, google, YouTube, tutorials, the forum you are right now, should be ways to step your game up....i am willing to help, but its step YOUR game up...not be ignorant and let others step......

I have the feeling u are not actually serious...

How can you say I'm not serious when I just dropped 1k on this device,
I do look up stuff, but a lot of the stuff you have to pay for, I don't want
Be throwing money at a problem if someone more experienced knows somewhere
I can gain the most knowledge from, you only can get so far doing something alone
So I thought asking some people more knowledgable about the situation
What direction I should start into sounding more like a legit beat maker
Rather than somebody just messing around

Tweakheadz.com is a great place for beginner to pro info.
It breaks everything down into everyday language.
