imported breaks sped up?

Hello,

I just got my MPC 500, really enjoying it except when I imported my library of breaks and tried to chop them up, they are all sped up to about 200% any ideas why?

is there a quick way to change them? i have about 100 or so.

you can load them into itunes and convert them all to .wav's by right clicking on them i think. (it will say something like create .wav version)
that works for mac at least.

also, this program called MAX converter is awesome and free.

its for mac, but it might also be for pc.

i spent a lot of time looking for a batch converter on my mac and finally found a great one.
