Emu Command Station price

Hey there!

Just got Hands on my old Emu PX-7 Command Station wich was stored at my parents for the last years. It wasx the heart of my Setup as it is a great Hardware sequencer but I always missed a samplung function and so i bought a Mpc 1000 wich does this Job very very good!

So yesterday i was Walking home and my Junkie-neighbour saw this thing in my Hands..pretty funny conversation: Whats that Thing? Can you make acid with it? would you sell it and how much do you want for it?

So i guess im going to sell it before i get my Hands back on it....i completely forgot how this Thing is used!

Now, how much can i sell it for? Thought about 350 Euro

In the States you can find them as low as 200-250 USD on ebay.

In the USA they are as low as $150.
Plus the samples can be obtained for free.
I have many of the emu samples in my MPC4000.

The Proteus 2500 can cost a bit more. I see it for $400 from time to time.

Command Stations are cool 128 polyphony and all but the sounds are available.

Plus you have to menu dive. People in here have already talked about the lack of sampling in other threads.

If you can get that much for it you are making out good I think.
Though stuff is usually more expensive overseas.

350 € ~ 480 $

Tiss about the right price in Europe.Actually more like 300 eu.

Thankys! I´ll try to get 300! and i wont hook it up to the rest of my gear for i would maybe reconsider my decision! hope i can sell and buy a mfb nanozwerg!

There is a proteus 2500 near me right now on craigslist for $200. The proteus in case you dont know is the rack version with more sounds than the mp7 xl7 and px7.

i guess These machine are a bit more rare in Austria....heavent seen to much of them on any craiglist-style board!

i only know the old Proteus 1 by owning one, not my best piece of gear an to cheap to sell! never checked out the newer ones..not enough knobs on it
