Streichfett combines the best of the now extinct species of String Synthesizers of the 70s and early 80s. Its dual sound engine features a fully polyphonic strings section and a monophonic solo section, which is essential for recreating how adult movies sounded thirty years ago.

The MiniBrute is really cool too. Everything is nice and compact in my setup now with the Volcas, yet I end up with a big ol' tank of an MPC2000.

Oh man, I forgot about the Streichfett for a minute. But I ended up ordering a Microbrute after trying one out last week. My desk is crowded. But I think I can fit one more synth.

I'm looking at picking up a MicroBrute after I sell my Volca Beats + Bass!

I have a feeling that the Micro and the Streichfett will be my only two hardware synthesizers for a good while. I always have a MonoMachine, Analog 4 and an OP-1 always available to me so, I think I'm not missing out on too much.

That's a nice arsenal of synths you got there. Looks like you won't miss the Volcas when they're gone. I'm keeping the Beats and the Keys. I was gonna buy the Bass before buying the Microbrute. I'm not sure if I'll be in a hurry to buy the Bass now. But I'm sure I will eventually.

aww, you should at least keep the Bass... Even past the novelty, it's a solid synth. Plus having another synth in your arsenal just means you have another real-time MIDI track, as opposed to stuff you have to record in order to layer on more channels.

And the µBrute is amazing. I'm only talking from my experience with the minibrute, but close enough.

The Bass really does offer a lot for the money. For $150, it's really hard to beat.
