If you lose the auction and if you're able to do a comparison video don't hesitate to do it It's always worth showing JJ problems and have a direct feedback from him.
Off topic but in my opinion AKAI should resurrect their midi production center by finally releasing a good successor to the MPC4K

euh, was that for me?
good luck on the 4k, its a nice machine but there are things on osxl that arent on the 4k

Yeah, will keep em both for a while at least It's funny, I originally got an MPC for performing drumming duties, and now I just use it mostly as a sequencer. The footswitch/overdub workflow is such a blast to use!
