Hallo everybody,
i´m searching for great drum sample kits whith the original Hip Hop flavour. I prefer raw and dirty drums. (New York Style)

Is there any special Drum cd or dvd you can recomment? Some real raw Drums sampled from vinyl etc...

Witch Drums do you use for Real type New York Beats...

If you want raw vinyl sounds, just sample some vinyl.

If you want to buy custom pro sounds, already layered, re-sampled through old 12 bit samplers etc, this is our most popular pack:

In the crate diggers section on this site there is a dude called Astral_Signal who posted 180 break beats, all categorized, named and with the bpm.
I've found that very useful for chopping up & making drum kits out of and am very appreciative of the post.

Not wishing to take any costume away from the Mpc tutor there.
I plan to get a couple of kits of that site as soon as I fix up a floppy drive to the computer for file transfer to the mpc.
They seem very professional and that's always makes it all a bit easier.
