note repeat and numeric buttons

Hey, whatsup, first post. I'm on a 1k with JJOS 2XL. Have a question...
So, I noticed that holding note repeat and selecting 1/16ths (F3) makes the numeric button and the Q1/after button light up. Is this a bug or is there some extra functionality that I'm not aware of?
Any insights much appreciated!

That's not a function.
It's an issue probably caused by the PCB design.
Don't worry and don't push everything that lights up

Thanks for the reply. I'll try not to worry.
I fiddled around some more and noticed that pressing note repeat and f4 makes the after/q2 button light. Also if you're in pad bank B and do note repeat and f3 or f4 the 16 levels button lights up. Weird.
So this is a JJOS quirk or just the MPC1000 in general?
