I think you'll like it. very big sound for such a small piece. gets deep and nasty when you push the wave forms all the way and then the addition of the sub, brute, metalizer, 5th and mod matrix plugs... this thing kills.

is this your first synth (hardware)?

Hey man!
I've haven't been reading one bad word about it, and it looks pretty amazing, and the price makes it sell itself in a way.
I've had a korg before, but I didn't know how to use it back then, so u can say this is my first real hardware synth.. Do you use it with an mpc?
I try figure out how to use it the best way workflow wise - using a renaissance as standalone, and as you probably know there are no audio tracks...
Did you midi sync it with other hardware or computer?

I use it via midi with my hardware mPC 5000. I then sample the sequence part from the brute to the mpc. you can do the same. if 4 bars sequence sample the 4 bar brute part and either loop to sequence or chop in 16 even parts spread across 16 pads to replay it into the sequence.

basically sequence and sample the part back to mpc.

Yeah CME (Chinese Yamaha subsidiary) builds those controllers for Arturia. Everything they do is really solid build quality.

I got the package today... brand new MicroBrute, 15' audio cable, 10' MIDI cable, and a 5-pack of 2' patch cables for $299. What an incredible deal!
The MicroBrute really has a wide range of sonic possibilities. I've made some huge bass sounds, and some old school arcade sounds that sounded like Galaga. This is a synth that I can see myself using A LOT for a very long time... it's PERFECT!

I have the mini- and the micro-brute, love em both! I also grabbed the miniLab a week or so before the Beatstep was announced because in my head I wanted something small like the beatStep and it was the closest thing. Arghhhh!

I can go for 2 more MicroBrutes.
