Is an MPC60 a digital computer

I resently was envolved in a discussion in a different forum on Michigan Drum and Bass.com (http://www.michigandnb.com/yabbse/index ... eadid=6037) started by Stonegroove called looking for old analog equipment. Someone brought up a point saying that an MPC 60 is a computer and that it's not analog. I thought that an MPC was analog (at least the older ones). I just want to know is a MPC60 analog or not, and is it a computer? If you got a clue please let me know cause I had no idea an MPC was considered a digital computer.

It's only analog outside of the machine thanks to the A/D D/A converters.

So then the output is analog because of the converters.

outputs on the 8 outs and main outs, yes, analog.
