Hey guys,

i got a MPC since 2 weeks, but i couldn't figure out how the VST-Plugins work. If I load a Plugin for example THE BANK, I don't get any sounds. I push the pads but hear nothing.

Thanks for any help :)

Go To bank c or d etc., and select a sound by browsing through the bank's files, on bank a, the sound is probably Too low To hear, or connect a midi keyboard...

MPC Software from 1.4 onwards can be run in either 64 bit mode or 32 bit mode.

The plugins you can't see/use are probably 32 bit, and you are probably running in 64 bit mode.

Either update the plugins you want to use to 64 bit versions of them, or run MPC Software in 32 bit mode.

By the way:
some daw's are able to run in 64-bit mode, and being able to open 64-bit plugins as well as 32-bit plugins?? Is that correct?? Just want to make sure that it is possible...

Yes, I believe that some DAWs might include a built-in 64 bit to 32 bit plugin bridge, or you can possibly run plugins that do the bridging, but I am not sure, others here will no doubt have experience with this.

Problem I'm having is I can get my vst's to work (finally), but sound settings and certain sounds I use will not save when I reload my song all my sounds reset to the default first sound on my vst,... Anybody else got this problem?, got a solution? (I have a cheesy work around but kinda want to use that as a last resort).

Only suggestion I can make is to save your plug-ins' presets, maybe straight into your MPC project folder?

I only have that with the aira player vst's I rename the plugin to the preset/patch name...the first times I couldn't find m anymore, so that's how I did it

The mpc doesn't have bitbridge I would not recommend to use a bitbridge. Jbridge is okay but bridging plugins is not, the, best option...go 64 bit and dump the plugin if they don t have 64bit version out...
