I recently got the xlcd with the paid jjos upgrade after using os2xl for the past couple of years. On os2xl it was possible to extract particular chops using the non-destructive chop function. However, on 128xl the NDS doesn't haven't this function(At least I haven't seen it) and the regular extract function in the edit screen is kind of slow since scrolling around the sample when making multiole extracts is kinda slow. So i would like to know if there's a way to extract certain slices and have them individual samples?

Thanks in advance

Sorry I don't know but I'll look into it today.

So I'm hungover so probably quite slow but am I understanding you correctly... You want to... Actually sorry I don't quite get what you mean. Do you want to extract from
The trim screen once you have done your chops or do you want to extract what you'll use in the new sample edit screen in program?

Cheers

Hi, I checked. Unfortunately you weren't over looking anything (as far as I can see)

It's a big shame because it would be a big memory saver if you could extract all chops and delete orig sample.

Still loving this xlcd though, I only just discovered that pad pressure to sequence for doing filter sweeps. I'm also loving the grid edit, at first I thought it was pretty confusing at first and thought it was a lot to ask to expect us to remember all the shortcuts in loop edit but I can work loop edit with my eyes closed, it's especially nice to be able to simply step through the evens adjusting ticks - + and velocity. I could go on and on.
