Aiight. I've been procrastinating on doing that for months now cuz it seemed like a lot of work regarding tuning every single pad and stuff but I'm gonna have to do it . Ok, so lets say we do that and save the program as let's say "autochromat". Now, is there a shortcut to assigning a sample to every single pad at once other than assigning it one by one?

No shortcut.

buy MPC Editor and you can autoassign all your samples to pads from the folder. if you don't care about sorting them you can do it like this and you will not need to hit it 'one by one'

Aiight, I got the 2k classic. I finally made a program to autochromate a sample. Now, I record a sequence on lets say track 1 using my autochromate program. But when I load another program like "drum kits" and attempt to record on track 2 it changes the sounds on track 1 to drum sounds. WTF am I doing wrong? Can the classic record using more than one program? I checked the manual and that sh*t ain't helping me at all. I also searched and the responses appear as if they don't apply to the classic. Somebody please help a bruva out....

The classic can't play 4 drums at a time like the xl can.
For your classic to do this you will have to do program changes in
your sequences in step edit to access the other loaded programs.
This is per another member on these boards.
