I have the MPC Ren and am using it with a Mac. I have tried but cannot get any sound from it as an audio interface. I have turned the direct mon knob to the right but still have no sound. Any suggestions????

I have that problem too since 1.6.

1.5 was good for me, eveything works fine, just lil' things that could be better. Then they want me to update my Snow Leopard for 1.6 and i updated my OSX to Mountain Lions latest before Mavericks, cause i've heard that this one makes trouble with the REN.

Now i cant hear Sound from the Internet. I can hear ITunes and i can play around with the REN but when i open my browser i have to change the interface in my soundoptions.

I also have problems with bouncing a mixed track. The files sounds unclean with lil' scratches or poppings sometimes.

Hope 1.7 will fixed this and i can work with my REN again. Its over 3 month now , i hope everyday for the new update.
