Is Akai going to let retronyms ruin Impc pro?

So my question is this, does Akai realize that not everyone uses Tabletop? That people use Auria, Cubasis, Multitraxk DAW and other iOS DAWS? As limited as IMPC is, adding audiobus so we could stream it into other Daws and switch sequences in real time would have made up for lack of song mode to s degree. Using a developer like Retronyms who insist on cock blocking Audiobus so we can use other daws besides their was a major dick move. Several people made comments about Impc pro and audiobus and pretty have gotten no replies from the Retronyms dude ( looking really awkward making a beat ) so I'm starting to think this will only stream into Tabletop.
I bought Impc for ipad and iPhone and deleted them both in the end. If Impc pro doesn't have Audiobus or let your stream it into other daws besides tabletop it's not going to get deleted because I'm not going to buy it in the first place, I'll stick to Beatmaker 2.

If they fail to implement Audiobus again, esp. now that Audiobus 2 is out which has added multiple apps in the Effects slot and multiple chains of apps as well as State Saving, it will be a monumental let down, epic failure and Retronyms will quickly fall back into a world of irrelevance.

They have a prime opportunity to become a major player in the IOS music scene and can easily integrate Audiobus in such a way (i.e. add it to Tabletop as well) that it can be used with all of their existing apps. which will make them that much more desirable. It is also an opportunity to regain the support of the many they lost with their previous resistance/refusal to support the defacto standard that Audiobus has clearly become.

I too am perplexed and disturbed by their continued tonue-in-cheek responses to Audiobus queries. Who knows, maybe they will surprise us with a full two-way Audiobus 2 implementation. If not, Akai needs to seriously consider cutting their ties and finding another developer who doesn't have Retronym's baggage.

From their Facebook posts, I think it will support Inter-App Audio in iOS7, and not Audiobus.

They are too tied in with Retronyms now, they are not going to take it elsewhere.

There are rumours that audiobus is going to add interappaudio support to audiobus so it should be possible to use it with audiobus in the future...

It's looking ok so far but i'm really interested to see Sample Management and find out the status of Audiobus implementation.

Although iMPC Pro doesn't support Audiobus, there are Audiobus apps such as Audioshare and Cubasis that support IAA too. You can load iMPC Pro inside Cubasis for example and record, add effects with Audiobus apps. Nevertheless it would be very good to have Audiobus support so that state savings could be implemented. Then you could save whatever setup of various apps you find useful and recall them from Audiobus whenever you want.

Audiobus is a never ever, believe that. Their business model is to not conform, charge too much and not talk much.

So more IAA FX slots, addition of proper MIDI Out compliance and clock/sync functions are the only hope, along with improved file management, adjustable latency settings (the pads don't react as quick as BM2 or even the first iMPC).

But yeah, unless you're dick riding them or asking for some shit they are going to do anyway, Retronyms will not rely to you on their Facebook page and they have no forum. And I fear are too clueless or shook to come here and in five minutes have that much needed eureka moment...
