Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

When I go to record the audio It glitches and black squares are scattering every. It will still let me record but there's a very loud static noise when I do. I can barley hear the recorded audio because of the loud static noise. Please help thanks.

what are you recording? are you using a turntable?

if so, you cant just plug it directly in, you have to have a mixer that has a phono preamp on it. or just a phono preamp, then you go from that to the mpc.

if thats not what your doing wrong, i dont really know, unless your cables might be bad. or the device that your recording from might be going out?

nope I'm trying to record the audio coming from my desktop.
