MPC 2000 - I want my money back!!!!!!!

I'm from Italy and I bought a mpc 2k classic from USA for 330€ considering also the shipping and importation taxes.

That mofuk told me the mpc was completely functionally but actually it isn't!
I think it's something about the sensors.

It's my first MPC, I used to make beats with mpds and FL so I don't know much about them.

There's no problem with the pad sensors. The reason why the pads double-trigger is because you're resting your fingers on the pads after tapping them. Tap the pads harder and move your fingers away before they have a chance to double-trigger the pad. It takes a bit of practice. But you'll adjust to it easily, when you see what I mean.

Yes this happens too when a friend bangs on my mpc. had it to when i started, but you got it down faster than you'd think!

I forgot to mention that the MPC has better pad sensitivity than the MPD.

I thought there was something wrong with the machine, but you are all right, it's just matter of technique and approach.
You know I used to produce with mpds that require real hard hits, so to me these "new" pads are super mega exxtra ultra sensitive.

I'm really glad that it's alright. I'm falling in love with it. The workflow to me it's very slow and limited in comparasion to Fl but the extra time you spend is nothing in front the satisfaction it gives to you. And it isn't complicated like I used to think.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I got my 2xl

My busted ass 2k does the same thing. Just work with it and you'll get the hang of it.

Double triggering or not, the seller just gave me 200$ to remedy haha, I don't think he knows much about this machine.
by the way I adjusted my technique and now the DT problem rarely comes.

I'm thinking about get a EB16 with those 200 bucks.
