Just checking the new rhythm roulette with ski beats. around 4.48 he's doing chord change with the organ. He uses a library in Kontakt. (he says that at the end of the video) How does he do that effect when changing chords. Does he uses the MS20 effect to achieve this? Or?

Check out Sun Ra goin crazy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SsBtfuSDxw

The Ski Beats vid sounds/looks to me like the it's a sample of an organ that if held long enough, goes into the stroking Serratic mentioned. It could also only be on one note so when you played the other chords that transition doesn't occur on the tail end of the sample.

There's also such heavy modulation on the organ that when you play the stroke fast enough you get some weird phasing whooshing effect. It's not really a plug-in, its the organ sound itself being played a certain way (notes in rapid succession).

You could get that sound from just about any good organ emulator/sample. Saying it came from Kontakt is too vague cause that's a huge collection of programs plus a ton of samples.

thanks for the tip. Sun Ra is a hero.

I guess it has something to do with modulation/other effects and maybe the envelope settings of those modulations.. Ill give it a try
