Some issues

Hi guys. I've got some issues:

1st - Swing seems like doesn't work at all. On youtube you can find video TOP 10 MPC4000 FEATURES where you can hear a swing differences. I can here no differences.
2nd - I've got EB4JS multi effects board installed but I cannot use 4 effects, only 2 effects. I cannot even see 4 effects on LCD screen.

I've worked on MPC 5000 before and I didn't know these options doesn't work properly. Any ideas how to sort this out?

You've got right 48k and I've got 4 effects. Thanks for that.

I cannot hear swing differences, for example 50% and 60% or 65% swing sounds the same. It shouldn't be like that.

To test the swing.

simply load a program with say a hi-hat or kick drum

with that program listed on the bottom press PLAY

then press the Note Repeat (so that the light is on)

Then press the pad where the sample sound is stored.

highlight the area on the top of the main screen where it says swing 50%

use the jog wheel to change the % number.

Note if you change it from 16th notes to 32 you will hear the difference more easily.

Thanks Ian. Swing test works properly, so it looks that I'm doing something wrong.
