I think it would be a good idea if there was a third option of Resample Ext (resample external fx) in the sample record menu. Selecting this option would route all MPC audio out of audio outputs 3/4 (assignable mix out) temporarily and record the input from audio inputs 1/2 as normal.

This way users could set up an FX chain between outputs 3/4 and inputs 1/2 to quickly resample MPC samples without having to mess around with audio routing settings.

I already suggested this in another thread, anyone else think this would be useful?

I like the idea, not sure if it would get implemented or not.

I like to be able to quickly sample through external FX or resample internal instruments with that routing setup.

Lately I've had a couple of patch cables running from the 3/4 outs back into the 1/2 ins. Turn off monitoring and if I want to record some software instrument or FX movements or make multisamples I just switch the outputs to 3/4 and record some audio snippets. This way I can record just one sound even though all the other parts are still playing along with it.

So yeah something like this would simplify that process in some circumstances.
