I know this is a luxury problem because former samplers probably didn’t have the feature/option to see sampled waveforms.
• Why not use it, when it’s there?
I had a experiment where I sampled a loop into a Yamaha A4000 and used “remix” function, where the Yamaha A4000 take a sample and mash it with cutting/breaking the loop and re-arrange the loop with new start and ending points.
• After that I sampled the loop from Yamaha A4000 into Akai Mpc-2000XL
After I had sampled the loop into my Akai Mpc-2000XL I experienced that there was no waveform in the trim function but I could still hear sounds coming out of my Akai Mpc-2000XL
Can someone explain to me what I did wrong?
I’m sure its not because I sampled in too low volume because I’m aware of that.
