VST not working unless on C: drive?

My plugin folder is on a seperate harddrive and when I load up mpc vst it says I need to unlock the hardware which I already did. But when I put the vst on the main C drive the plug in loads up fine,any info about this? thanks

It's a pain in the ass. I want to move it off my system drive also.

Same here i was on the brink of buying a ext HD for vst plugins only...
and by the way? Komplete ultimate comes on a external hard drive right?? Wtf?!?
is this true? Anybody confirm?

Yes, but you have to install Komplete Ultimate from the HDD to your HDD.
