Im happy to say that this drive package works great with the 4k. The only caveat was that the mounting bracket that came with it could not be used as it only had holes for side mounting vs. bottom mounting like the MPC has. I bought this

One major PLUS with the included Addonics IDE to SATA adapter (from OWC) was that it had 2 4pin power receptacles (see first image in link below). So since the SilenX fan came with a 4pin power plug included I didnt need to cut, or splice into the original fan wire or connector. I just unplugged the original, mounted the new one, and plugged it right into the 2nd 4pin power connector. One other great thing about the Silverstone mounting plate is that it will hold 2 X 2.5" drives. So if you wanted you could disconnect the CDR drive and add another SSD.
