The dude who is playing around in those videos is "DataLine" and his music is actually pretty nice considering I'm not into "electronic" music much. He has a jam that uses the MachineDrum an an OP-1 that I've loved since the first time I've heard it.

The only thing about this machine is there is no midi out port. Elektron makes some awesome sequencers in their machines and it would be nice to trigger other samples with the elektron groove.

I know who he is and everything I've ever heard sounds like doo.doo.

You're clearly jealous.

Dude has skills for real. Elektron probably brought him on-board to promote and demo their gear and he does well to represent the brand.

Don't get me wrong...I have been jonesing for some elektron gear for a long time (machinedrum and analog 4 mainly) but for the price...there are always some shortcomings with their gear that I have a hard time reconciling with.

I feel like I'd buy a tempest first before this. But I really do kinda want one the more I hear it

You had me worried there... there's a MIDI out and a thru, see pic:

http://www.elektron.se/products/analog- ... n=features

And both of those ports can double as din sync outputs. You'll be able to sequence external gear no problem. This is looking and sounding very nice indeed.

Sorry what i meant was the analog RYTM cannot act as a midi master sequencer using the midi out port.
