So I want to use the Q-Link sliders while playing live but right now it looks like you need to be in a particular program for that slider to work on the program. Is there any way to "hard link" that slider to a program regardless of what program you are on?

So for instance I want to ride the cutoff on a vocal program while still being able to track mute the drum program. Seems like you can only do one at a time. The same seems to be relevant for FX as well?

Ok figured it out. Create a LP Filter on a bus, setup your default Q-Link Mode to Effect and then route the Q-Link to control the Freq on the bus you set the filter on. What sucks is you lose a bus though so its not ideal. I would far prefer to use the Filter section on the Program to do this but I guess you can have your cake and eat it.

Oh ok, l see what you mean. I think you do have to be on the program page to do real time sweeps. I have an sl novation zero which sends data on separate channels, l will try this and report back. My guess is the mpc would need to act as a multitimbral instrument to achieve your effect.

I have an Oxygen 25 and an Axiom 25 so getting control is no problem. But I dont think the MPC5000 is actually capable of it. Its a pity cos it wouldve really added a whole bunch more functionality to it.
