EB-16 vs Boss SP303

I'm thinking of buying EB-16 upgrade for my MPC 2K or Boss SP303 for after effects.

Which one would you advice me to buy?

very tough decision to choose...


the eb16 has reverb, a little multi band EQ, a delay.. some other basic fx like that... not very much compared to the sp303. I think the 303 has way better fx, more fx.. including compressors and compressor like fx. It's not built in though..


also, the 303 is perfect to link up as a second sampler with the mpc.. plus, you can record your entire finished beat onto a 303 pad if you want which adds another dimension.

you can bounce samples around in the 303, sample them back into the 2000...



I will have to go with the 303.

ive got a 404sx and a lot of outboard, but theres a lot i can do just with the mpc and the sp
the eb16 is a worse buy imo than the 8-out board, but i am an outboard freak, so if you aint got that yet id say grab it
but the sp would be better than just upgrading the mpc because it would increase the range of your workflow a lot more having a complimentary instrument than just an even better mpc

I got my EB-16 and my 8 out card on ebay, if anyone in the U.S. are interested.
