3 questions

does anyone know how to install a cardreader into ur pc? and 2 does anyone know if a usb 2.0 card reader that would read scandisk ultra 2? also when i hooked up my cf drive into my mpc2000xl my mpc started flickering and and the smell of smoke

There is allot of cheap card readers which you can hook up directly in motherboard but I recently went for an external usb one (all in one type), they should read many (all) of them with no problems.

You shouldn't do anything on your own if you're not sure what you're doing. Bring it to a technician to finish the job properly. I've done similar thing by myself by trying to repair the tact switches and fried something inside, just in my case, I've seen the nice smoke coming out of my mp Now I have a sure month of waiting for a true repair.

Does unit work normally after that flickering occurred?

the mpc works if i dont have my zip drive or cf cardreader hooked up
