man i have no idea what hes saying, but i can now get a feel for how big other ones are.

the 4000 is freaking huge !

He is Mr Nakamura from Akai Pro Japan aka ProAudio Japan. Actually one of the designers of the 2500, Aleiss keyboard and 1000 I believe great guy and very informed. He was basically going over the mpc's basics sequencer, sampler and the 16 pads.

Yes it is. There's alot of empty space under the hood.

Like 2k classic was big, then came 2kxl with all that space taken out and resulted in a smaller mpc. They should come with a 4kxl and it would be smaller (yeah I know, we've all wished this before).

Yeah but with dedicated buttons and knobs on the 4k which takes a lot of
real estate. 4k users could get away from shift + buttons.
