TROUBLES WITH MEMORY CARD

hey all
i got my 1000 a couple of weeks ago, and im having difficulties. basically when i turn it on.. the loading screen says 16mb installed however I've installed and formatted the 128mb memory card. i tried recording a sample and it said insufficient memory. doing my head in :Sigh:

help please

Were you sampling in stereo, how many seconds was the recording?
You are recording into 16mb.

The hard drive is for storage only, meaning your are not sampling directly to hard drive.

While your mpc is powered on your are working inside the 16mb space only, it can fill up quickly if you aren't careful. My guess is you don't understand mb space management yet.

Solution, change the 16mb to the max of 128mb.
