loading 2k and 2kxl pgm and sequences into the mpc 4000

I have a mpc 4000 as a main machine. I think about getting either the 2000 or 2000xl as a second machine. I want to be able to transfer prtgrams and sequences from the 2000 (xl) to the 4000.

Do all program parameters get transfered? What about sequences? (I don't care about songs)

The 2500 loaded my old XL projects better than the 4K, which is weird as they're just one generation away from each other.
