Hello, everyone. Im new to the mpc world and I was wondering if you guys can help me out. Whenever I save a sequence or song, my old sequences and song are now gone. The project names are still there but when you open them, they end up turning into the last song that I have made. SO whenever I make a new song all of my old songs become the new song.Everything else is the same like bpm or what I named my sequences as the newest song i made. Why are ALL of my old songs getting replaced by the new one?
I hope you guys can help me

Sounds weird youre probably doing something minor your gonna smack yourself in the forehead for when you find out what it is:P

If youre saving it in the same folder and you dont name all your sequences individually when you save itll ask to overwrite files with the same name. Make sure youre not doing that.

Heres what I do might help.

Once the beat is made I just make a new folder and SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY

Some people would say its a waste of space and it is but I have 100s of beats on my mpc and nowhere near close to half of my memory is gone.

Hope you find out what youre doing wrong, good luck :)

Most foolproof way.

After several beats, you'll start to understand the differences in file types.
For now, do the above.
