NEXT SEQUENCE fixes for 1.7

When using Next Sequence... How bout a clock (H:M:S) showing how long you have been going, so you can tell how long the mix is running? I don't mind a 10 min mix, but some of

my clients wont understand.


And about the information displayed when Next Sequence & Song mode pads are displayed on screen...



the sequences are represented by the drum pads.I get that. But why not just put a big number on the pad in the software view?





Or at least top left corner. So that when you look at the drum pad in the software view, you can easily see the sequence number. Then maybe the bar length and tempo info, then a truncated track name.
Right now it shows too much information, and visually not the most relevant. Less clutter, simple large number to look for.

By the way...I'm not talking about changing the time mode because I like the beats/bars clock. I just would like a supplemental clock to monitor the overall mix time. Like a big clock that you could quickly glance at when in the NEXT SEQ screen (maybe in the SONG mode as well).

And I too like having the bar length, tempo, and part of the sequence name on the pads, But if you notice in the images created, pads that don't have a sequence, should just say unused. On the fly, I don't want to think. I also don't need to see the length and time of an unused sequence.

And the big numbers will simplify the info that I need to see in a glance. I don't want to do the math. I just want to look and id the pad/seq in a glance. Especially when dealing with sequences like 2,45,50,111 and so on. (I don't want to have to figure out the pad bank /seq correlation). Maybe i'm crazy, but these are things that slowed me down.

Also notice on the REN LCD screen, there should be a number on the screen to be consistent with identifying sequences by numbers first, then truncated name.
