MPC4000 in the Pelican Storm IM2875 Case

I'm moving soon and I needed a quality case to take the MPC4000 along internationally. I saw this case mentioned in another thread, but I never saw any pictures of the MPC4000 in this particular Pelican case. I wanted to share these pictures for anyone that needs to travel with the 4000 and is unsure about whether this case will work.

The MPC4000 is a perfect fit in the Pelican Storm IM2875. I initially carved out an area just for the square footprint of the unit, and then expanded some of the wider areas like the edge-panels and hand-rest panel, removing a total of 3 layers deep for the main square footprint to achieve the proper depth so that the case would close yet keep the unit very snug. The edge panels and handrest panels I only needed to remove 2 and 1 layers respectively to get a great fit.

Yep, I can attest to it fitting perfectly. The IM2875 case is bulky, but then again the 4k isn't a small machine. Small price to pay for consummate protection.
