Hi, I'm just looking for some advice. I have the option of buying either a 2000XL with a hot swap card reader, or a 2000XL with internal FX board and just the standard floppy drive. What do you recommend? The guy selling the one with the floppy disc is saying the card reader is quite unreliable and 'tricky', but I don't know if this is just salesman's spin. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

card readers are reliable if you have it working.. with cards that work. it isn't tricky at all...

but, the eb16 effects card is worth more than a card reader which is easy to buy and install yourself at any time... the eb16 will cost you more to buy later than a card reader.

I vote for the one with the eb16 fx card... except one thing, how much are each of the mpcs? and are the screens in good condition because the screens are the actual thing you base your decision on.
