thats just plain dumb

they will fail if they dont improve their product or follow through

if you're calling me a "submissive worshipper" jokes on you though.. cause you obviously have no clue what you're talkin bout

akai is trying to improve their product, why wouldnt they want to succeed. im not even saying i believe they will, just pointed out a more optimistic point of view

ill make beats on whatever i feel like making beats on.. in this past week i've made beats using 4 different formats basically.. i just make music.... people on here like to **** bout things constantly instead of just doing what they claim to do however it needs to happen

i dunno about you, but if i have a passion i gotta do it and i dont let anything hold me back

you missed the point , the guy is using 1.7 in the video

The tabs menu has words instead of icons which tells me it's before 1.6. Do you see something different?

Your right I'm tripping,I was thinking about the volume indicators , that Dan said would be there on the mixer

You seem fairly highly functioning for someone with such obvious, and severe, mental retardation.

As well as multitimbral or ability to record Ren's MIDI output to my DAW or whatever the hell it's called :x
I mean come on Akai, it just cannot be that difficult to do! The new Trigger Finger Pro (same programmers btw) can do this for $399 for Pete's sake (pun definitely intended)!

There's obviously no plan, therefore no dates can be provided. Its plain this "mpc" project isn't a priority for inMusic, although they continue to milk the brand for all its worth.

I have a big feeling that you guys won't be seeing 1.7-2.0 until all the obvious kinks are worked out with the inevitable Ren 2.0/XL.

The cat is out of the bag for that secret. And soon as news came of it's existence, the MPC software has been halted for either:

A: Been re-written from the ground up. (Not impossible since they have the source code)

B: A new device exists to push people to pay for a new release.

 :Sigh:  :WTF:

you guys are seriously sick the way you're freaking out over this update

frothing at the mouth, speculating and shit. it's going to be really funny when the update comes out, the people who actually use their ren's won't be busy on the forums, they'll be busy on their ren's figuring out how to make the most of the added features. the people who are waiting for the ren to be updated to their idea of what it should be (not founded in the reality of what the product is, and how it's always been), will be freaking out on the forums as usual.

stay mad, i bet it helps your creative flow heaps, or maybe you're all the same as GNRFAMZT (doesn't own a ren and uses pre-baked midi patterns, so who needs creative flow for that)

The REN is doable now. A true musician will make the best of it as is and worry about features later along the line.

I don't want to wear my MPC REN out in case I have to get rid of it later down the line, so I got the dust cover on it...lol. I have my Kronos X to make music for now.

I swear some of these guys on the threads are real corny. You guys aren't even ranting, or helping. Just talking to talk. This is why this section is getting really lame at times. Not inviting at all. There has to be away to rid of some of these guys.

Well the comments are a representation of the product, in the N.I forum, their threads first and second pages are active with good topics and useful information, because they have a great product. People on here are dying for some thing to talk about.

One thing that annoys me is the Akai postings on Facebook. They seem to post allot of the same stuff over and over.

Not trying to bash the Ren, but I am curious how many people bought it who have never own an MPC in the past.
