MPC-Forum!

I just bought my first pair of monitors and i chose the Adam F5's with Auralex MoPad.

So i have a newbie question; Which way is best to hook up the Adam's to my MPC Renaissance??

I bought balanced cables with it, can i connect them directly to the MPC and if so, which in/output?

And once they are connected properly, how should i setup my MPC preferences??

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Mitch.

Glad its sorted out.

However, and no offence to Tutor or anyone else, but this place really needs a complete Newbie section.

Theres hardly a post I read these days that isnt based around day one of recording school.

Im happy to contribute, but I need something worthwhile to contribute to.

Well this is effectively the newbie section, so if you don't like newbie questions, why are you even in here?

Just hit 'view unanswered posts' to find those issues which are yet to receive a reply.

Granted, this thread could have been posted in the 'Studio Setup' or 'MPC Ren' forums. But with newbies, it is what it is. We appreciate those experienced members who will take the time to help solve newbie problems. Nobody is born with knowledge, so we've all had a helping hand along the way.

It was in the Ren section, I moved it to "getting started".
Monitor hookup, imo, is a newbie thing.
