MPC1000 carry bag/case

Hey all,

can anyone recommend a decent bag or case for the 1K...

dont really want to fork out the cash to have a flightcase custom made and
cant find anything decent on the googles.

Not sure how much abuse the MPC may take in the case or how much money you are willing to spend, but Pelican Cases are fantastic cases for just about anything. The 1450, 1470, and 1490 would work best for the 1000. It just depends on how much excess space you want all around. You can just cut the foam in it to fit the MPC, power cord, CF cards etc. The cases are very strong and are air tight, water tight and certified for flying as luggage. We usually carry extremely expensive rifles in larger cases and they have been dropped, knocked over, hit, and have flown many times. Just my 2 cents though.

I picked up a generic three-pistol carry case from Academy (not sure where you are but it's a general sporting-goods store) for $40. It has carried all my Elektron gear without fail and is now my MPC's full time motor home. One of the best investments I've made for my gear.

I use a few different SKB cases for my guns and they are, indeed, excellent. You cannot really go wrong with Pelican and/or SKB if you can pay for 'em.
