MPC 1000 Screws

Has anyone found replacement screws to attach the side panels to the MPC 1000? I know MPC-Stuff sells them, but 5 screws for $5 plus $7.50 is a bit steep. I went to my local hardware store to see if they had anything remotely close in stock and the screw they were trying to sell me was 3x the length of the one in the MPC 1000.

My advice is pay the money. You could simply cut the screws from the hardware store down to size, but on the off chance they are not the perfect fit, your ruin the threads on your expensive musical equipment, to save 10 bucks. I'd buy the screws from mpc stuff, and protect your investment.

you are right, mpc stuff is not always cheap

take one to the hardware store or a bolt/screw specialist place.

i replace rusty screws on my car all the time at a local place called 'perry bolt and screw'... they have almost anything you can imagine.
