MPC1000 drivers for Mac OSX 10.9.4 Mavericks

Good day all,

I recently switched my Cubase software from pc to Mac. I have a Lexicon Lambda interface and the MPC1000. I cannot use Cubase now to record or play audio. I just get static and the sound meter stays at peak even when no sound is played. Someone suggested that it may be because I need to load new drivers for the MPC 1000 for Mac. I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help.

There are no drivers for the mpc1000. The mpc1000 is just treated as external storage as far as your computer is concerned, it's just a cf card. It certainly has no influence on the audio performance of your computer. It sounds like your audio interface needs drivers for mavericks, so go to the manufacturers site for your interface and see what's available.

The Lambda is core audio compliant, I don't think it has Mac OS X drivers.

Is it set as the audio interface within Cubase?

Thanks all! The issue was with the compatibility of the Cubase version Elements 6 and OSX Mavericks. I downloaded the workaround from Steinberg and all is now good.

I've just bought a new iMac and found that Cubase 6 was a bit flakey and randomly crashing under Mavericks. I'm hoping 7.5 is more stable.

From all I've read, Cubase 7.5 works perfectly with OSX Mavericks.
