Please help my guys!! Thanks for all ur time

Contact Akai support, either directly or through their community forum, ask them to send you a link to download the MPC Software installation disc.

All you are missing by not having it is the additional content (samples/loops/etc.).

Your seller should have given u the mpc software disk that includes the content ,
Do you have the mpc software ,
Why hasn't he got the software , did he register it when he brought it ,
The seller should then unregister the software and mpc studio with akai ,so that you can register it and unlock the mpc software with controller after installation .
It sounds like the seller wants to keep the software because you can use it without the controller connected, and cash in by selling the controller ,

Personally I would return it , you could contact akai and tell them the situation and see what they say
I suppose this is the problem with allowing the software to run without the controller your gonna get people trying to take advantage of people not understanding the mpc/mpc software combination

he said me he can send me a copy of the dvd he has for his reinessance.. i think is quite stupid sell this drum machine without software.. BTW. he gave me just the update 1,6 of the software, and i think it doesn t work proprely.. is it possible that i have to install the original MPC software and then update it!?

For instance, when i record my beat it delete ( not totally) part of the beat i recorded before of a new recording...
I don t understand this shit program!

I don't know if the update 1.6 is the full programme ,I doubt it but if you say your using it then I may be wrong .
When you started the programme for the first time did it ask you to unlock it by filling in a on screen form ,

Again I don't think that a copy of his cd for the ren that would be registered to his ren ,
I brought a studio sold it and brought a ren when I connected the ren the software I had already installed for the studio knew that it wasn't the controller I unlocked it with

I don't understand why he hasn't given you the original cd ,what did he say happened to it , it seems shady ,like I said I would return it ,did you buy it from eBay

Email akai support tell them that you brought it second hand give them the serial no and the persons name you brought it from if you brought it on eBay you could send them a screen shot and ask them if there's anything they can do registering it in your name and then being able to be given a replacement dusk or a download link

It is the full program, you can do a fresh install from the update and it works fine, you just don't get the additional content. It goes through the authorisation/registration process.

Only problem I have seen is a bug that leaves the Sampling Bit Depth preference blank when installing from the update, or possibly from certain versions of the update, rather than setting it to 24 or 16, then it does not save new samples that you record into it.

The installation DVD is not registered to any particular Renaissance or Studio, it is exactly the same DVD supplied with all MPC controllers.

The authorisation/registration process takes place over the internet, when you first start MPC Software, it connects to an Akai server for the authorisation process, it is nothing to do with anything on the installation DVD, it does the same thing if you install from the downloadable update.
