oh boy... i cant really mess with that. doesnt sound appealing. hope it was just recorded poorly. even still not a challenge at all to any or the lil korg boxes plus somew parts of that synth sound too 303 knock off ish (but not in a good way - emphasis on the "knock off" part).

Yeah I'm still in disbelief after waiting for so long to hear such weak sounds.
Akai made a few analog synths in the '80s. This has gotta be a joke.

:hmmm:

Well if it actually has a sampler then it could be a nice grimey machine.

Anyone wanting a similar all in one box, look no further than the monotribe. Even though it has a 3 piece drum kit, it sounds way more decent and can nod heads. Not to mention the superb moog-like synth in it.

My next album gonna be all monotribe. . .

That thing doesn't seem worth it imo.

the only thing I like about the video was their wolf emblem at the end... that was a illy looking wolf

One thing I kind of like about those sounds is they sound vintage ishty.
It seems to me thats how those old early Rolands like a CR-78 sound like.

Does this actually have analog circuits in it?
Could it be a cheap circuit bender?

I'm relieved to see the video and what it really sounds like. Definitely much better than the other audio example. Akai may have taken their time. But to me, this looks like it'll be worth it. I can't wait to use it with my SP-404SX, x0xb0x, and Korg Volcas. This is exactly everything I was hoping for.

The hi hats are a cut above the Volca Beats but the kick sounds tame in comparison.

For $200 I think it's a decent enough box though.
