So I am triggering a keyboard of mine with the pads on my Ren. I have a sweet melody that I want to play but my problem is three of the notes are in the C bank while one of them are in the B bank. When playing I have to switch between banks to complete the sequence. When doing so the notes are cut off and it's nuisance. Is there a way for me to customize the pads so I do not need to switch banks? I know I can play and sequence and then over dub but there seems to be a delay when playing back the first recorded note. I figure I can just record it in my DAW (pro tools) and call it a day but I would need to not have to switch banks. I'm in a whole heap of frustration right now and was hoping for some handy tips.

Any suggestions?

So I ended up just playing it in Pro Tools and it worked out. There isn't a delay in the MPC to my knowledge. It was just how I was playing the notes compared to how they were recorded.

However, being able to customize which triggers are changed would be dope. Is this where MIDI control mode comes into play? Or would that be more for mapping out within your DAW opposed to triggering external machines? That's what I am thinking but I've yet to try it.
