I need help. Where can I find this type of cable and what is

I need to find this so I can attempt to repair my MPC 1000 blue/red edition the problem being I can't hear any audio out of the left stereo out and well as the headphones. Thanks in advance.

For the life of me I can't remember which one you need, best thing to do is to shoot Mike at mpcstuff an email as he will know off hand what part number it is and the ribbon cable you will require

Technically not a ribbon cable. Multiple coloured wires, with a multipin connector, but not joined together into a single flat ribbon.

What is wrong with your original cable, is it physically broken/damaged?

True True. One of the two connections on the tail end is physhically damaged opposed to the other one. If the VST site tells me there is none in stock, how possible is it for me to repair or make another one? I tried MPCstuff but they said they don't have them.

Email both MPCStuff and VST, to ask if they have any, or if they can make up one.

You can probably buy the correct plug, and plug terminals, to make it yourself, but finding the exact parts, in stock somewhere, in low quantities, along with a suitable crimping tool, might not be so easy.

Maybe if you post a photo of exactly how it is damaged, someone might be able to suggest a way to fix it.

There would most probably be a way to hack a DIY fix if you can't get the correct parts.

haha they already told me no, so my hope is on vst.

Update

one of the tails were loose (you can barely pull and see the wires moving) but
I got it working* and that being a big asterisk
all I did was switch how the tail end connectors were plugged into the output board with that being said I have no control over the volume but its LOUD, and every time I plug my headphones in a couple minutes later the signal distorts but for now I am happy cause I just run it into my interface and hear the volume through there. Thanks for all the effort and help folks.
