You know when you open up the 4000, if you don't unscrew that middle on on the back center, the little tab and it snaps off. It's crazy but there's a part of me that wants to replace the shell to have that again and know everything is as it should be even though it doesn't effect performance - it's just rattling around in there - luckily I'm not moving the MP to notice it. Am I mad?

Sorry just a bit of banter for asking what I think is a pointless question. Is there anything you've read in the thread to lead you to think the price is for anything but the whole unit? Lighten up anyway.

Lad, it's not a pointless question, I've followed the whole thread. It's not really banter is it; there's gotta be some level of humour for that and 'midi headphones' doesn't cut it.
