Holy f*ck Lamp, that thing is gorgeous.

I'm not a 3K hyper-nerd-fan or anything but that is THE one if I ever was going to get one.

If that screen would tilt it would def be killer.
It sorta looks like it SHOULD be able to tilt even though I know it doesn't.

Inflict - Nice, simple, clean!

Jibber - That Midas is a hot mess. I think I've got the vapors.

Inflict, that MPC500 looks like a 2500 special edition, nice!

Medearis: At the Moment it's a bit of a torture to have it sitting there. My main machines (SP1200 and MPC60) are still in the shop getting serviced and it'll be the end of August until i have them back... The ASR-10 stopped running too, it only flashes the meter lights and then nothing happens, guess i'll take it to the shop when i go there to pick up the other two machines. The 500 doesn't really inspire me to make music at the moment...

Even more torture is i have the DBX160 (2nd one ordered) and the MF101 ready waiting eagerly as well for the SP1200 and MPC60... :WTF:

I guess i'll post some more pics in the meantime. Still not sure where i'll place the SP1200 and MPC60 once i have them back. My biggest problem will be that i don't have long enough and as many cables as needed. Also, no idea where to place the ASR once it's fixed... we'll see...

Ahh well, the name of the thread is pics of your cribs, so i guess "studio decoration" counts as well... bought some 10 year old palm trees from an old lady to improve the terrace and "studio view". Quite happy! :smoker: :-D

Trust me, i'm more than aware how lucky i am regarding this place/view. Gotta count your blessings (classic by Guru, R.I.P.). Thanks dog!

Well, I think I can see a tree from my studio window, and some windows lol.

That view looks like a postcard from paradise...

Man that's such beautiful view Jibber :smoker:

All I get to see is trees and pigeons out of my window  But on the plus side we have acquired recently a lovely sparrow hawk that I enjoy watching hunting the pigeons, catching them then smashing them head first on my patio. (Guess it karma for all the years of cleaning their shit off my windows, patio wall, car etc  )

Got to say that has got to be the cleanest Vestax PMC-05 pro Mark 2 I've ever seen as well  :smoker:

DAMMMMMNNN! Congrats dog. one of the best set ups and locations I've seen. i love the minimalist illusion in the way you set up everything. I say illusion because truth you got "GEAR" but it doesnt look like it just because of how its all set up and the space its in. love it fam

Thanks a lot guys! You're all welcome for a beer and some bbq if you're ever around the zurich area in switzerland, just shoot a PM. :smoker:

TagOne: I got that vestax for 100 bucks. It was quite dusty when i picked it up, but after a good cleaning, there wasn't a single scratch on it. It's noisy as hell tho... i guess that's normal? Good enough for a couple of beginner scratches here and there anyway.

PSR: It's true what you say, it looks quite minimal. In a way it is. I tried to sell all my gear that never gets used and ended up with a set-up where every little piece/machine gets used and has its purpose, very happy with that so far. However, the SP and 60 still gotta have a place somewhere... so in the end it'll look more packed. I think i'll have to put them on another set of tables or something on the left side of the keyboard... there's really no other good spot. Not ideal as the dinner table will have to move, and to the left of the left speaker, there's the entrance door to the flat... but hey, i really can't complain, i'm really happy with this set-up.

Biggest negative aspect is that i have ZERO sound treatment in there, but i'm not willing to sacrifice my living space that much. There's always the headphones for critical listening.

Medearis: Grrrr... now you put another idea in my head... thinking which one of my homies has a power washer... :!: :-D
