Syncing MPC 1000 and Microkorg to a DAW at the same time via

Hey dudes, I need a little help syncing my microkorg and mpc into a daw simultaneously. My microkorg is synced into my mpc 1000. The midi out of the microkorg is plugged into the MIDI IN 1. The MIDI OUT A of my mpc is plugged into the MIDI IN of the microkorg . In the settings in my mpc,I have it set to syncing out of port A but thats for my microkorg. How will I be able to sync the both of them into a DAW if my mpc is already syncing out into something else? I do own a focusrite scarlet 2i4 with midi in and out but , how can I sync into it? Somebody help!!!! Thanks for reading and trying to help me.

just use midi out B to your interface and slave to mpc like the microkorg.The MPC can send the clock on both A and B so just use B like A. The wiring is gonna be the same really, unless you go the midi through in the microkorg, but that might be a bit harder to implement for you though.

Now can you explain what you mean by "sync" and "syncing".

And what is "syncing" supposed to achieve.

Just to make it clear what you are trying to do.

Are you actually syncing anything inside the MicroKorg to the MPC, such as an internal MicroKorg sequencer/arpeggiator/LFO/etc.?

Or are you just playng the MicroKorg from the MPC sequencer tracks, sending MIDI note on/off messages from the MPC to the MicroKorg, to trigger sounds in the MicroKorg?

If you are syncing the MicroKorg to the MPC, you can send sync out of both MPC MIDI output ports at the same time, one to the MicroKorg, the other to your computer/DAW.

You can probably also sync the MPC to incoming MIDI sync from the DAW, and at the same time, send MIDI sync out of the MPC into the MicroKorg.
