MPD 32 with Fat Pads is the only machine I put them in as the gap from pad sheet bottom to sensor sheet is major.

Never felt any need to use them on my XL. Sensitivity is fine on that one for my taste. My 2500 I have JJOS-XL and those sensitivity settings in the software are fine once calibrated to personal taste.

The 1000 Fat Pads have the height of the adhesive corx molded in the rubber sheet. Those pads are fantastic. Fixed every issue the 1000 has suffer from a gap by a design oversight like all the MPD's and the older MPK's.

When there were thread on the corx in the past opinions were mixed. A lot of people felt like it made it all a little stiff. Which I could totally see as that's how my MPD32 felt after installing them. Got better as the Fat PAds softened and got broke in. It was still a huge improvement over the stock MPD32 regular height pads without the gap closed.

I gotta agree with Metatron. The Corx are great with the 1000, as well as the Fat Pads. Same for the MPD series. I never felt the need to use them on a 2000 or 2000XL. Check your pad sensors. They lose sensitivity over the years. But if they're ok and you prefer a lighter touch, go for the Corx.
