nah all i have is DD disks, i believe it was a copy disk bug that came through the older OS 2.40, since using OS 2.49 i have had no issues!

but yeah, waiting for the stacks to build a lil bit before i mod it out !

Just look up chopping on asr or eps 16 on youtube it s the same, the only difference is that on the eps
classic im pretty sure there's a dedicated button for the sample playback range. Or on the eps it s called something else.

doing this from memory holmes, so my bad if its slightly incorrect.
get the sample on root key. EDIT Wavesample - Select wavesample (make sure its not set to ALL (and your looking at the WS number)
Set keyboard range (this button is near the sampling button ) hit the key you want the sample on twice (sets high and low key parameter) samples on a key.

Now go to copy wavesample, use PARAM only, and once its "created" you can rinse and repeat.

OR

sample kick into ONE instrument, trim it.
Sample snare into another instrument, trim it
Same for hi hat etc.

makes it a bit easier when programming.

Hope this is of some help!

I plan to mod mine too but am wondering: The EPS16+ has a tall FDD opening (approx 1/4'' taller then a regular one). What is the best option to ensure there is no wide open gap once the HxC is mounted? Did you just leave yours wide open?
